Every word below is a draft written to describe how the site is built, not a compliant privacy notice. A solicitor or a data protection adviser must review and rewrite it before you collect a single real enquiry. The short version

When you submit an enquiry, we pass your name, phone number and the details of your job to one third-party cleaning business so that they can contact you about it. That is the entire purpose of this website. If you are not happy for your details to be given to a cleaning business, do not submit the form.

We pass your enquiry to one business, not several. We do not sell your details to marketing lists, data brokers, or anyone other than the single cleaning business matched to your postcode.

Who we are

Cleanerpair is a trading name of Vanza Properties Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 16142341. Vanza Properties Ltd is the data controller for the details you give us through this website. "We" and "us" on this page mean Vanza Properties Ltd.

What we collect

When you fill in the homeowner enquiry form, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your postcode
  • The type of clean you want, and your property size
  • When you need it, and the rough budget you selected

If you sign up as a cleaning business, we collect your business name, contact name, phone number, email address, the postcodes you cover and the types of work you take on.

We do not use cookies for advertising or analytics, and this site does not store anything in your browser.

What we do with it

We pass the enquiry to one cleaning business covering your postcode so that they can contact you with a quote. We keep a record of the enquiry so that we can deal with complaints, replace enquiries for cleaners where our policy requires it, and run the service.

Our lawful basis for passing your details on is that it is what you asked us to do when you submitted the form.

Who receives your details

One independent cleaning business. They are a separate company from us, and once they have your details they are responsible for how they use them. We are not able to control what they do with your information after it reaches them, though we take it seriously when deciding who keeps receiving enquiries from us.

We also use service providers to host the website and move the enquiry to the right place. TODO — list them here.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because your details will already have been passed to a cleaning business, you may also need to ask them directly. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
